LOLO’S REAL TALK: THE STORY OF THE THIRD MIRACLE
A True Story About How Knowing God’s Names Can Save Your Life When Everything Else Fails
CHAPTER 1: THE TOUGH SECURITY GUARD
Meet Your Lolo Melvyn
Hello! Come sit down and let your Lolo talk to you for a little bit.
Before we look at the secret files of my life story, let us make a promise to each other. If you came here looking for a boring textbook or a simple fairy tale, this story is not for you. You can go back to scrolling through social media, working on your corporate career, or finishing your daily projects.
But if you want to hear a true, mind-boggling story about survival, life, and a real-world miracle, then open your mind and listen very closely.
This is your Lolo speaking. I am not telling you a story I read in a random library book. I am telling you what actually happened to my very own body. For forty long years, I was a high-level corporate security boss, a private detective, and a human resources expert. That means my job was to protect huge international companies, like Toyota, and keep thousands of people safe.
When bad guys tried to break into buildings, when people sent scary threats, or when big emergencies happened, I was the man everyone called to fix the problem. I wore sharp clothes, carried special badges, and built massive safety plans. I truly believed that if a person was smart enough, strong enough, and prepared enough, they could protect themselves from absolutely any danger in the world.
But I was completely wrong.
On June 28, 2025, at exactly 2:30 in the afternoon—what soldiers call 1430H—the biggest Boss of all, God, showed me that my human strength was not enough. I did not make a silly mistake at work, and no bad guy snuck past my security guards. The danger did not come from the outside world at all. The danger was hiding deep inside my own head.
A tiny blood vessel deep inside my brain suddenly popped open. This is called a serious brain bleed, or a CVD stroke, and it hit a very important spot in my head called the left thalamus. In just one single second, my forty years of martial arts, security skills, and smart plans dropped to exactly 0% power.
For two and a half hours, Melvyn Valenzuela was completely gone. My heart stopped beating. My lungs stopped breathing. I was clinically dead on a hospital bed.
I am not writing this to sell you a boring book or show off a fancy prize. This is a real-life map of a second chance at life. I am writing this because if the ancient secret names of God could pull a paralyzed, dead old security commander out of a dark two-and-a-half-hour void, then those same names can fix whatever big problem you are facing in your life today, no matter your age, your job, or your generation.
Welcome to our real talk session. Let us look at what happened next.
CHAPTER 2: EMERGENCY AT 2:30 PM
📋 LOLO’S EMERGENCY REPORT: THE NUMBERS
- TIME IT HAPPENED: JUNE 28, 2025 // 2:30 PM
- THE PLACE: MEDICAL CENTER OF MUNTINLUPA
- WHAT HAPPENED: BAD BRAIN BLEED
- HUMAN HELP REMAINING: 0%
- CHANCE OF LIVING: ONLY 5%
The Train Station Inside Your Brain
To understand how big this miracle really was, we need to talk about science for a minute. Inside your head, you have a beautiful brain that controls everything you do. Deep in the middle of your brain, there is a tiny but super important part called the thalamus. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK542184/
Think of the thalamus like the ultimate Grand Central Train Station of your mind. Every single time you touch something warm, every time you want to wiggle your toes, every time you feel a little tickle, and every single word you want to speak has to pass through this tiny train station first. The thalamus routes the signals to the rest of your body so you can move and talk.
When a blood vessel pops open and floods the left side of this train station, all the train tracks are instantly destroyed.
The human brain has a very strange, cross-wired design. The left side of your brain controls the right side of your body, and the right side of your brain controls the left side of your body. Because my medical emergency happened on the left side of my thalamus, it demanded a terrible tax from the right side of my physical frame.
When I finally opened my eyes inside the quiet Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at 7:00 that night, I discovered something that completely terrified me.
In my mind, I was still the strong security commander. I looked at my body and thought, “Okay, lift both of your hands up to your face and rub your tired eyes so you can see better.”
Inside my thoughts, I imagined both of my arms moving through the air perfectly. But when I looked down with my real eyes, the truth broke my heart. Only my left hand was moving up in the air. My right arm just lay there on the white hospital sheet like a heavy, dead piece of wood. It was completely silent, cold, and frozen.
From the very top of my head, down through my chin, across my chest, and all the way down to my right toes, the entire right side of my body had been completely turned off. When I tried to speak to my beautiful wife Marietta or my sons Jed and Jorel, the words would not come out. The words felt like they were trapped under a big pile of heavy, wet playground sand. My tongue felt like a thick, useless weight inside my mouth. My speech was completely slurred and broken. This was a terrible trick played on a man who spent his entire life giving big speeches, teaching classes, and talking to corporate bosses.
The Invisible Prison
Do you know what it feels like when you suddenly lose all of your strength?
When you are lying in a cold ICU hospital bed, wearing a silly paper gown that ties in the back and leaves you totally exposed, your fancy titles do not matter anymore. All of my special security badges and certificates could not buy me even a tiny bit of movement in my right thumb. The fact that I had written over thirty books did not matter to the loud medical machines that were monitoring my weak, bumpy heartbeat.
I lay in that hospital bed for days, listening to the scary sounds of the room: the steady hiss-whoosh of the breathing machines, the loud beep-beep-beep of the alarms, and the fast, quiet footsteps of the nurses who were whispering to my family that I probably was not going to make it.
In that dark silence, scary thoughts started whispering in my ear: “Look at you now, Commander Melvyn. Look at your big security standards. You spent forty years protecting giant international companies, but you couldn’t even keep a tiny blood vessel safe inside your own head. You are just a burden now. Your career is totally finished. Your voice is broken forever. Half of your body is already dead, and the other half will join it very soon.”
Have you ever felt completely stuck like that? https://melvynccvalenzuela.com/why-good-people-stay-stuck/ Maybe you have never been in a hospital bed, but you know what it feels like to feel completely helpless. Baby boomers know the fear of health failing and retirement disappearing. Millennials know the crushing weight of burnout, stress, and bills. Gen Z knows the deep anxiety of an uncertain future and feeling lonely inside. You all know the scary feeling of realizing that your best plans, your hardest work, and your smartest ideas cannot fix the problem.
What do you do when your absolute best effort hits 0% and fails completely? What do you do when you run out of answers?
CHAPTER 3: THE VOICE AT 5:00 PM
A Shout in the Dark
The doctor’s official medical charts said that I was completely non-responsive. That is a big word which means I was like a computer that was completely turned off, and no matter what buttons the doctors pushed, the screen stayed black. The medical team had used all of their science, all of their medicine, and all of their machines, but my soul was not answering the door.
Then came 5:00 in the afternoon.
My son, Jorel, walked into that scary, white emergency room. He did not see me as a fancy corporate boss or a smart author; he just saw his dad slipping away into the permanent dark. He did not say a quiet, polite, formal prayer. He did what a true soldier does when he sees his best friend falling down on a battlefield.
He yelled with all the strength in his lungs:
“DAD!”
That single word was not just a loud sound hitting my ears. It was like a loud emergency siren that traveled from the real world all the way into the deep, dark void where my soul was drifting. That voice caught me like a rescue rope. Deep under the covers, my left hand flickered. My fingers gave a tiny, microscopic twitch.
To the doctors, that tiny twitch was just a weird accident. But to my son, it was a secret signal that his dad was still fighting inside. That tiny movement changed everything. The medical team rushed back to my side, throwing every tool they had into saving my life, refusing to let that tiny spark of light go out. By 7:00 PM, even though science said I only had a 5% chance of living, I opened my eyes inside the intensive care unit.
The Hardest Battle
When you survive a major emergency, you might think the hard part is over. But let Lolo tell you a secret: sometimes, the hardest part of the battle is learning how to heal and recover.
Waking up did not feel like a happy movie scene where everything is suddenly perfect. Every single morning, I woke up in that small room at the Medical Center of Muntinlupa and tried with all my might to move my right leg, only to watch it sit there like a cold, heavy rock. Every time I tried to speak to thank my family for staying awake with me, all that came out was a garbled, messy sound. My pride was completely broken.
I had to make a fast emergency change in my mind. I realized that if I kept trying to fight this problem using my own human strength, my old corporate titles, and my proud attitude, I would give up and become sad very quickly.
I had to hand over the steering wheel of my life to God. I had to stop looking at my frozen right arm as a sign of defeat, and start looking at my moving left hand as a beautiful gift of God’s love. I had to step down from being the “big boss” and become like a humble child who trusts his father completely.
CHAPTER 4: THE SECRET LIFELINE: GOD’S 8 SPECIAL NAMES
During those long, scary nights in the dark hospital room, when everyone else was asleep, my spirit remembered a secret code that had been written inside my heart since I was a young boy.
Ever since my high school days, my kind mother, Victoria, had taught me to pray and think about the special, ancient Hebrew names of God. When I was healthy, it was just a nice daily habit. But inside the ICU, that habit became my literal armor for survival. It was a list of Eight Special Names, and I used them like heavy shields to protect my mind from giving up.
| # | GOD’S CODE NAME | THE 8 SPECIAL SHIELDS |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | ADONAI YAHWEH | THE ULTIMATE BOSS (God is the Master) |
| 2 | YAHWEH-YIREH | THE HELPER (God provides what I need) |
| 3 | YAHWEH-ROPHE | THE GREAT DOCTOR (God heals the body) |
| 4 | YAHWEH-NISSI | THE VICTORY FLAG (God wins the battle) |
| 5 | YAHWEH-SHALOM | THE QUIET CALM (God brings total peace) |
| 6 | YAHWEH-RO’I | THE GOOD SHEPHERD (God finds me when I’m lost) |
| 7 | YAHWEH-TSIDKENU | THE HUMBLE HEART (God makes me right) |
| 8 | EL SHADDAI | THE UNLIMITED BATTERY (God’s power never runs out) |
Let Lolo explain these names to you using simple words, exactly how I used them while fighting for my life:
1. ADONAI YAHWEH: Handing Over the Steering Wheel
In a big emergency, the first rule of safety is to know who the real boss is. When I whispered Adonai Yahweh, I was saying, “God, I am not the boss anymore.” Adonai means the true Owner and Master of everything.
By using that name, I told my brain, my stroke, and the whole universe that Melvyn Valenzuela was stepping down from being the leader. I had no strength left to bargain with. When you tell God that He is the true Master, you are safe because you are putting your broken life into the hands of the most powerful Leader in existence.
2. YAHWEH-YIREH: Sending the Best Help
Most people think that “provision” just means having lots of money or fancy toys. But let Lolo tell you some real talk: when you are stuck in a tiny hospital room, a big bank account cannot help you. You cannot buy a new brain pathway with money.
I needed special help that money could never buy. I needed Yahweh-Yireh to send me the perfect helpers at the perfect time. And He did! He made sure my son Jorel yelled at the exact right moment; He gave me my amazing wife Marietta, who flew across the ocean from Canada to hold my hand; and He even made sure my brain surgeon was a trusted member of our own family. Never just pray for money. Pray for Yahweh-Yireh to send the exact right people and help into your life.
3. YAHWEH-ROPHE: Fixing the Broken Parts
This name is like God’s personal tool kit for your body. My brain bleed had crashed the computer system on the right side of my body. My slurred speech meant my talking wires were broken, and my numbness meant my feeling wires were turned off. Yahweh-Rophe means “The Lord Who Heals”.
As I lay there looking at a right hand that felt like a cold piece of stone, I chose to speak the name Yahweh-Rophe over my nervous system. I did not wait for my hand to move before I trusted God. I trusted Him while the system was still completely dark.
4. YAHWEH-NISSI: Waving the Victory Flag
When you get hit by a sudden bad surprise, the enemy tries to make you feel so scared that you want to give up before help arrives. The stroke tried to make me believe that I would spend the rest of my life as a sad, helpless burden to my family.
In the Bible, when a bad army attacked God’s people, Moses did not use a sword; he went to the top of a hill and held up his hands with God’s staff. He called God Yahweh-Nissi, which means “The Lord My Victory Flag.” A flag shows everyone who owns the land. Since my right arm could not move, I used my working left hand like a proud flag of God’s love. I waved it in that hospital room to tell the spirit of sadness that my body still belonged to the King of Kings.
5. YAHWEH-SHALOM: The Quiet Inside the Storm
During my forty years as a security boss, I thought I knew what peace meant. I thought peace meant having no problems, locking all the doors correctly, or staying calm during a bomb threat at Toyota. But that was not real peace; that was just a brave face I put on because I thought I was in control.
When the emergency happens inside your own head, that brave face melts away instantly. Real peace is not the absence of trouble; it is a real Person who holds your heart perfectly quiet even when everything around you is crashing down. Inside that loud ICU room, Yahweh-Shalom (The Lord My Peace) cooled down my scared heart. He gave me a beautiful, quiet calm that all the beeping hospital alarms could not ruin. And a brain that is kept calm is a brain that can heal much faster.
6. YAYWEH-RO’I: The Rescue Guide
You might know the beautiful poem that says, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want…” That is not just a nice poem for church; it is a real search-and-rescue map. When I was trapped in the dark void of my brain stroke, I was completely lost. I did not know how to get back to my normal life, my books, or my family.
Yahweh-Ro’i means “The Lord My Shepherd.” A good shepherd does not get mad at a little sheep for falling into a deep hole; he simply climbs down into the hole to pick the sheep up and carry it home. God was my guide when my own internal maps were completely burned up.
7. YAHWEH-TSIDKENU: Throwing Away the Bragging Rights
This was a very hard part of my journey. For a long time, I loved bragging about my fancy job titles, my expensive business cards, and the fact that I wrote so many books. I thought I was important because of how hard I worked.
In that hospital bed, Yahweh-Tsidkenu showed me that my fancy titles did not mean anything to Him. I realized that God did not love me because I was a “famous security expert” or a smart author; He loved me simply because I was His child. When I retired from my big corporate jobs in January 2026, it was my way of saying: I am done trying to look important to the world, and I am ready to just be a humble child of God.
8. EL SHADDAI: The Ultimate Backup Battery
When your phone battery hits 0%, it dies unless you plug it into a powerful wall outlet. Humans are the same way. When my body hit 0%, no human strength could turn me back on. El Shaddai is a special name that means “The All-Sufficient God”—the God whose battery never, ever runs out of power.
When God told Abraham about this name in the Bible, Abraham was ninety-nine years old and way too old to have kids. His human strength was at 0%. God did not tell him to exercise more; He just said, “I am El Shaddai. Trust me.” In that ICU room, I plugged my broken body directly into El Shaddai’s infinite power source. When Lolo is at 0%, God is still at 100% power.
CHAPTER 5: WHAT THE DOCTOR SAW
Let us jump forward in time to April 2026—nearly one full year after my brain stroke happened.
I walked right back through the front doors of the Medical Center of Muntinlupa. But this time, I did not arrive on a rolling hospital bed. I did not arrive sitting in a wheelchair. No nurses were holding my arms up, and my voice was no longer trapped under a pile of wet sand. I walked in standing tall on my very own two feet, using the exact same right leg that the doctors thought would be paralyzed forever.
I went into the office of the head neurosurgeon—the super smart brain doctor who had looked after me since the day I collapsed. He sat behind his desk, looking at the original X-ray pictures of my brain. Those pictures showed a massive puddle of dark blood inside my head—enough blood to normally close a person’s eyes forever.
The doctor looked at the digital screen. Then he looked across the desk at me—talking clearly, smiling, and wiggling my fingers perfectly. He stared at me in total shock and shook his head.
“Melvyn,” the brain doctor said, with an incredibly serious look on his face, “in all my long years of being a brain surgeon, your case is only the third time I have ever seen a true miracle in my entire medical career.”

THE BRAIN SURGEON'S OFFICIAL REPORT
====================================================================
THE PATIENT: MELVYN C. C. VALENZUELA
WHAT SCIENCE EXPECTED: CHRONIC PARALYSIS OR DEATH
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED: COMPLETELY HEALED AND WALKING
DOCTOR'S DIAGNOSIS: THE THIRD MIRACLE
====================================================================
The smart doctor did not say that a magical pill saved me. He did not say I just got lucky. Even though he was a man of science, he bypassed all the big medical words and used the only word that made sense: Miracle. He admitted that on the day I collapsed, the medical team did not think I would survive the night; they were quietly telling my family to say their final goodbyes.
Why am I still here talking to you today? Why did my heart start beating again when so many other hearts stop forever?
It is not because I am a perfect superhero. It is because God loves us completely, and He answers when we call upon His beautiful names. Medical science gave me a tiny 5% chance to live. Knowing and trusting the Eight Special Names of God secured the other 95%.
CHAPTER 6: THE GAME-CHANGING PROTOCOL
The 1-Breath Code
Lolo knows how busy and fast your world is. Every generation faces its own crazy storm. Boomers face health concerns, Millennials face economic mountains, and Gen Z faces massive waves of anxiety and distraction. You are all constantly trying your best to survive, do well, and build a safe life.
But when a real-life emergency strikes without warning—like when a family member gets very sick, when an unexpected accident happens, or when a wave of deep sadness and fear hits your heart out of nowhere—you do not have time to sit down and read a massive textbook. You are scared. You feel like you are running out of air.
In those moments, you need a short emergency prayer that you can say in just one single breath. You need what Lolo calls the 1-Breath Code:
“Yahweh-Shammah, Yahweh-Shalom, El Chai. B’shem Yahusha.”
These are not magical wizard words from a movie. They are real, powerful names that connect your heart directly to heaven in less than three seconds:
- Yahweh-Shammah: This means “The Lord is right here in this room with me.” You are reminding yourself that you are never, ever alone in the dark.
- Yahweh-Shalom: This means “The Lord is my quiet peace.” You are commanding your shaking hands and your scared heart to become perfectly calm and still.
- El Chai: This means “The Living God.” You are plugging your weak, tired body into the everlasting life force of the One who created the stars.
- B’shem Yahusha: This means “In the beautiful name of Jesus.” This is like the ultimate security password that opens the gates of heaven, ensuring your voice is heard by the Almighty King.
CHAPTER 7: DO NOT TRUST IN CASTLES MADE OF SAND
Real Talk Time
Let us look directly at the reality of life. Humans spend their whole lives building big, imaginary castles. We think we are safe because we have a little money in the bank, corporate success, a high status, nice clothes, or a cool reputation online and at work. We walk around thinking that nothing bad can ever touch us because we are so smart and prepared.
But let your Lolo give you some real talk: our human strength is like a fragile paper wall.
You can lock your house with ten big padlocks to keep bad guys out. You can save up tons of money to buy anything you want. You can use the smartest computers and coolest tools to protect your things. But you cannot control your very next breath. You cannot write a computer program to keep your heart beating perfectly forever.
If you think you are important only because of your good looks, your money, your age, or your trophies, you are building your house on shaky sand. What happens to your happiness if those things disappear tomorrow morning? If you lose your titles, are you still special?
Don’t wait for a scary emergency to realize that you need God in your life. The smartest move you can ever make is to stop relying only on yourself, and start trusting your life to the loving care of the Creator.
CHAPTER 8: YOUR MARCHING ORDERS
I did not walk out of that dark intensive care unit just to go back to sitting on the couch and watching television. God did not give me a second chance at life just so I could keep making money or playing corporate security games. The grand Boss of Heaven extended my life contract for one clear, beautiful reason: to share this true story with all people globally, across every single generation.
I wrote my book, The Third Miracle, because I wanted to create a clear guide for anyone who is currently sitting in a sad hospital room, a stressful corporate office, or a dark valley of fear, wondering if anyone is strong enough to save them.
This book is not a story about how great Lolo Melvyn is. It is a simple step-by-step map showing you how to pray, how to use God’s names when you are scared, and how to use my 30-Day Guide to make your heart strong, peaceful, and brave.
Get the Manual Today
Your human strength will eventually hit its limit and fail you. Do not wait until you are completely broken to learn the secret password.
If your heart is beating fast right now, if you realize that you cannot do everything on your own, and if you want to swap your stress and fear for the beautiful, quiet peace of a God-protected life, then the secret manual is ready for you to read.
The entire true story is fully written down and waiting for you on the global Amazon store right now. It is called The Third Miracle: 1430H—When Strategic Tactics Failed and the Power of Abiding in the Names of God.
Our mission is still going strong. The perimeter is safe and secure. The true Leader of our team is God.
In the Name of Jesus.
Amen and amen.
